FULL MOON: Object, sound, 2015

This ready-made object is in itself an uninteresting tacky subject. However, within the scope of the exhibition ‘TRYING TO FORGET’ - in which the author deals with the time that people spend forgetting about everyday problems at nightclubs - it acquires new meanings. On the one hand, in the words of the author, it refers to a particular event, in which it played a part and thus it may be interpreted as a kind of diary record. In a sense it put the finishing touches to the atmosphere at a morning party at Barényi’s residence. On the other hand, the object’s spinning luminous element conspicuously reminds you of a disco ball, so it becomes a humorous substitute for professional lighting equipment.
Along with this readymade object, the author’s personal digest of favorite dance tracks is also being ‘displayed’ as it makes up the audio part of the work.

Tento readymade, objekt je sám o sebe nezaujímavým gýčovým predmetom. V rámci výstavy Trying to forget v ktorej sa autor zaoberal časom ktorý ľudia trávia zabúdaním na každodenné problémy v nočných kluboch, ale získava nové významy. Jednak sa , podľa slov autora, odvoláva ku konkrétnej udalosti, ktorej bol súčasťou, a teda má význam ako druh denníkového záznamu. Dotváral atmosféru na rannej párty u Barényiho známej. Po druhé, jeho krútiaci sa svetelný prvok nápadne pripomína diskoguľu, takže sa stáva vtipnou náhradou za profesionálnu svetelnú techniku.
Spolu s týmto readymadeom je „vystavovaný“ aj výber autorových obľúbených tanečných trackov, ktoré tvoria zvukovú časť diela.
