I DON´T LIKE PEOPLE WHO SMILE AT ME, EVEN THOUGH THEY DON´T LIKE ME: light installation, text projected onto walls and onto visitors from an overhead projector, 2011.
The minimalist light installation where the author (with the help of an overhead projector) projects a sheet of paper/film saying: “I dont like people who smiled at me even though they dont like me”. In this way he wants the spectator to feel this uncomfortable feeling we have when such a situation happens in the real life. Thematically, we can classify this installation in the field where the author presents himself – his life, ideas, events – modestly, without any pathos or irony. And this is at the same time the major topic of his work.
NEMÁM RÁD ĽUDÍ, KTORÍ SA NA MŇA USMIEVAJÚ, AJ KEĎ MA NEMAJÚ RADI: svetelná inštalácia, text projektovaný z meotaru na steny a na vstupujúcich divákov, 2011.
Minimalistická svetelná inštalácia, v ktorej umelec prostredníctvom meotaru projektuje do vstupného priestoru miestnosti, do výšky očí vstupujúceho diváka, hárok papiera/fólie s nápisom "Nemám rád ľudí, ktorí sa na mňa usmievajú, aj keď ma nemajú". Takto chce u diváka navodiť podobne intenzívne nepríjemný pocit, akým je pre neho popísaná situácia. Inštalácia patrí do tematickej oblasti, v ktorej umelec bez pátosu či irónie, so skromnosťou sebe vlastnou, predstavuje sám seba - svoj život, myšlienky, udalosti - ako jednu z nosných tém svojej umeleckej tvorby.
